Meet Clare McGreal, the amazing jewelry artist behind the Instagram account @theirishsilversmith. Although she has only been silversmithing for over a year, we have been admiring her stunning jewelry creations ever since! Oh, and she's also self-taught!
Regarding her design, Clare makes her decisions in purchasing the material she works with based on the uniqueness of each stone and what piece it inspires her to make, whether it be a ring, cuff, etc.
We noticed that Clare incorporates turquoise in her designs a lot, so we asked what's her favorite thing about it! She shares she loves love working with turquoise because of all the different colors and patters they come in. Adding that no two are the same.
Currently, she's obsessed with White Buffalo and Purple Lavender, and loves working with oval or round shapes.
