Meet Trisha, the amazing Florida-based jewelry artist behind @t.thorne.designs on Instagram. She has been making jewelry for 2 years now.
For her, what got her started in creating jewelry is her love of it. She said, "I have always loved jewelry and the meaning a good piece can bring to someone!"
Her journey in creating jewelry was a learning experience for sure, as she said. Trisha actually took one class to get the basics but she has learned everything else through trial and error. 🥰

ARTIST'S DESIGN STYLE
"Learning not to be afraid of the heat," Trisha recalled her very first AHA moment when she got started creating jewelry. She added that at first, she was so scared to get the metal too hot - which is possible but learning how to apply it was definitely her AHA moment. 🔥
THE DESIGN PROCESS
When Trisha designs, she tries to let the stones decide for her! Whichever stone/stones catch her attention, she usually sits out for a few days trying to create and decide the best design that fits with the stone/stones.
Asked to describe her very own design style, Trisha said it's more on the minimalist side with a beachy vibe. 🌊

What's one design tip you one to share with your fellow artists?
"Don't judge a piece until it’s complete."
One piece of technical advice on creating.
"Patience when using heat. When I first started I rushed the heating part of the process and didn’t trust the flame."
